ABOUT

Empty.Rentals is a new concept in commercial property rentals where we hope to link property owners and landlords with new tenants in a controlled and legally binding way.

This innovative vision was to provide a new service to help:-

  • Landlords gain some income from their empty properties.
  • Landlords choose the minimum time and minimum rental income they will accept, this is a new concept in commercial property rentals that is not set by an estate agent, the values are set by the landlord or property owner and can start from a 3 month term upwards.
  • Give access to new businesses with great ideas to setup and run their own businesses.
  • New businesses can try their concept out in their chosen location for a minimum period of 3 months, but can extend if their business is sustainable on the same terms as the first agreed time period.
  • New businesses fully understand the costs to run the property for their agreed time frame, allowing startups to manage potential losses if their business is not successful.
  • Tennant view property's in the area they want to setup and make a offer through our website based on what they believe they can afford to pay and a time frame they are happy to occupy for.
  • The contract between the landlord and business owner is legally binding.
  • Contract extension can be agreed between both parties on a regular basis.
  • Small commission rates payable to Empty.Rentals.

This vision is to help the regeneration of the high street, up and down the country.  The idea was born and developed in Guernsey by an experienced business leader, our service could help regeneration not only in the UK but globally.
